On September 18, 2010 load testing of the FORTS trading system will take place with the involvement of market participants.
The aim of this testing is to verify the trading system production capacity and to detect any potential weak places when the maximum load has been reached on the trading system and infrastructure of the Exchange and of the trading participants.
The trading system will be available for connection verification from 11:00 am.
The testing will simulate a standard trading day and will consist of the main session, intraday clearing, clearing and the evening session, in accordance with the following schedule:
12:00 pm - start of trading
2:00 pm - intraday clearing
3:45 pm - evening clearing
4:00-5:00 pm - evening session.
Reports on trading results will not be carried out and therefore not distributed.
The testing will be carried out on the participants’ current equipment (gateway servers and access servers) and communication channels out of the Exchange. The trading activity will be generated by both the robots of participants and by the robots working on the Exchange capacities.
Applications for participating in this testing should be sent to help@rts.ru. It is necessary to indicate a contact person in the application who will be responsible for the testing. You should also specify what kind of equipment will be used during the testing period (participant’s gateway, or access server only, or both of them).
Applications for participating in this testing will be accepted until 12:00 pm on September 17, 2010.
