Bloomberg to source market data via FIX/FAST

RTS FORTS (Derivatives) market on Bloomberg is now being sourced via the RTS FIX/FAST feed.

As part of RTS’s policy of improving market data distribution to its customers, the data on FORTS’s instruments with order-book depth 5 is available to Bloomberg terminal users. This in addition to the new form for the last trading price and best bid and settlement dates on RTS Standard and FORTS.

There are plans to extend the RTS market data distribution functional with more detailed information on the equities market RTS Standard, volatility levels, limits for FORTS’s prices and collateral data.

FAST technology is designed for distributing a wide range of market data to trading participants, information agencies or other counter-parties in real-time mode. FAST Protocol provides effective data distribution, reliability, flexibility and the ability to connect to various platforms. FAST technology is widely used by the leading world trading venues for exchange data distribution.
