New versions of OJSC RTS documents come into force

Starting from November 2, 2009 the following documents approved by the Board of Directors on September 24, 2009 come into force:

• Methodology of the RTS Index calculation
• Methodology of the RTS-2 Index calculation
• Methodology of the Sectoral Index calculation  
• Methodology for calculation of indicative USD/RUB exchange rate

By resolution of the OJSC RTS Board of Directors it was also determined that in the process of calculating the RTS Index, RTS-2 Index and RTS Sectoral Indices in cases provided for by the paragraphs 2.12 and 3.8 of the methodology for calculating the corresponding index, an indicative USD/RUB exchange rate as of the moment of calculating the corresponding index calculated in accordance with the Methodology for calculation of indicative USD/RUB exchange rate is used.

In accordance with the methodologies for calculating the indices, the trading modes of OJSC RTS where the prices for index constituents are formed and lists of those stocks are composed, are determined.

Also a list of banks, whose quotes are used for calculating the indicative USD/RUB exchange rate is determined.
